We caught up with Ethan 'Bushey' Richards Busy honing his 3 passions, modelling, music & skateboarding, we caught up while he was doing one of them earlier in the week
Yo Ethan! How did you get into modelling?
I got scouted at a house party in east London. I was dancing away one night when this woman came up to and was like 'have you ever thought of modelling before?' I was like 'no, I haven't'. The week after, I went into the agency and they took me on board. I was there for over a year but then the agency closed down. It was a blessing as it gave me a foot in the industry to help me launch my career into modelling.
Is this a passion of yours? If not, what is?
I guess my passion in life is maybe music, it's what I was connected to when I got scouted, and I've always been into dancing, so something to do with dance and music for sure.
Yeah, we heard you had your own record label! What are your goals with that?
I wanted to write songs for other labels as well as be able to take on some artists in future. So far, I have worked with artists in LA and NY and looking to expand the label network across other countries.
Speaking of rap, settle the debate - Tupac or Biggie?
Tupac all day. No explanation needed. Tupac until the end of time.
If you could pick a dream artist to collaborate with, who would it be?
Frank Ocean
What are your goals in the music industry?
To be the best influencer in the music industry. Either through my music or helping others.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself maybe not living here in London, hopefully, businesses have expanded across the globe and I am working in New York.
Onto another passion - Skateboarding! You said you haven't done it for long, why did you teach yourself it?
I've been skateboarding for about 5 years on and off. I've only really started getting decent in the past 2 years. It's one of those things, you put in what you get out.
