I’ve been doing full time modelling since college, back home in Manila, Philippines. From high fashion to streetwear to commercial, but my love is for music. I used to do a lot of ukulele covers, and last year I started to write more stuff and record with my music producer. If you are interested in alt pop music, you can check me out on Spotify :)
Describe yourself in 3 words
EASY-GOING – basically, don’t know how to say no!
GRATEFUL AF – I got this serious grateful heart, to a point that every morning I thank the sunshine for turning my hallway into gold!
Dream brand to collaborate with?
For my music, Unif. If I keep doing good with my alt pop music, collaborating with them will be fun.
For modelling, Zimmermann! Top dream, I’ve always been a bohemian chic by heart haha!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Life is unpredictable and I always just go with the flow and take my chances. I have a few different plans!
1- I would love to live by the river or a beautiful lake, have my little vegetable garden, a black horse and high speed wifi in my house lol (wifi is life!)
2- I will be taking care of orphan elephants in Kenya
3- I will have a hippie bus so I can drive around Europe or Australia. #vanlife
but either way, I will still be doing music.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love art and love to create. I doodle a lot and take a lot of photos. Also I play, well, used to play the piano and violin back when I was a kid. Now my go to instrument is the ukulele and tiny bit of guitar! Singing relaxes me! And I love travelling!
Favourite emoji?
I have three, dove🕊 dragon🐉 and rose🌹
Favorite place in London?
Brick Lane since day 1 haha! Totally my vibe; the vintage market, the graffiti, the artsy people, and the Indian food – everything I love in one.
Favourite piece of the Serge DeNimes collection?
The Vibes waffle sweat and the baby girl bleach tee, both are love at first sight. So its great that I got them both in my closet now!

We heard that you recently became a dad! Congratulations! What is the first thing you will teach your new daughter?

Thank you very very much!  First of all is giving her all the love I have inside, that is all she needs at the moment. After that, the first thing I will teach her, is to love every living being in the world, to every tree, flower, animal, etc and to be kind to people. I want her to learn to love and respect everyone.

How were you scouted?

One of my best friends in Madrid introduced me to one of his friends in Madrid. He is a model and he proposed that I give it a try and invited me to go to his next test shoot. He told me the three best agencies in Spain to send my pictures to. I did, got signed and everything started!

Favorite place in London?

Holland park is a beautiful place to have a picnic or to meditate.

What do you do when you’re not modeling?

Now that I’m a father, my priority is to be there for my daughter. I also write about life experiences and things that I have learned to help others. I study nutrition and try to do all kind of sports to keep myself healthy and active.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I have always loved to dance. I did ballet when I was a child but fell in love with other sports and stopped dancing. Now every time I go to a concert, club or festival, I feel the pure joy of moving your body freely. I want to dedicate more time to dancing and develop this talent.

Favourite band/singer?

One of the bands I most listen to is Blackstreet. I’ve been listening to Montell Jordan a lot lately too. But I like all kind of music, from Alexander Desplat to Zatox…

Favourite piece of the Serge DeNimes collection?

The black crown cap. Reminds me of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Tell us something you’ve not told in an interview before…

I would love for people to see time as something cyclical instead of lineal. It makes me sad when people feel bad about their age. Age is just a number! We all live in the same moment of time, either we are 22, 32, 42… so what matters is what you make of your time from the moment you wake up until you go to sleep. For me, everyday is a new opportunity, a new birthday! Every day counts, so it doesn’t matter how old you are. What matters is what you make today and tomorrow will be another birthday, another day to enjoy, seize and live life to the fullest!

How did you get into modelling?
I was scouted by elite model management in We Are FSTVL in 2013.

What advice would you give an aspiring model?
Be positive and patient, continue to learn what you need to know and also adapt what you’ve already learned to different situations.

What’s the best thing about your job?
I’d say the best part of my career would be the chance to travel and work around the world, meeting different people and cultures. (And of course the partying haha)

Have you got any exciting projects coming up?
At the moment I haven’t got any projects coming up, but I will be soon – Keep a look out.

Who’s your favorite designer at the moment?
I wouldn’t say I have a favourite designer, I like every designer in their unique ways – at the moment Proudlock is doing it for me.

Favourite spot in London?
London is beautiful in many ways, for me it will be around the shoreditch and brick lane area for the amazing art, food, fashion and culture.

If you weren’t modelling what would you be doing instead?
God knows, I’ll probably still be on the railway as a engineer shovelling ballasts and changing rails in the freezing cold.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I couldn’t tell you, hopefully living abroad somewhere hot still pursuing my career as a model, and jumping on the property ladder.

I love all the pieces from the collection but my favourites are the Black 4 Symbols Waterproof and the Gold Padlock Necklace.
