I've been a full time model for 3 years now and what I love about it the most is to travel so often around the world to shoot campaigns and also meeting new creative people on each set.

I used to play basketball before becoming a model so I have always been a sportsperson. Im also interested in anything related to art, music, fashion in general, and especially movies (afro-american 90’s movie is my favourite genre).
Where is your favourite place you have visited?
Without hesitation, I would say South America where I have had the opportunity to shoot a campaign in Chile and Brazil.

The styling team did an amazing job and I honestly loved all the looks but if I had to choose one It would be the last look, the Burberry long trench with the LV trousers and my all gold set of Serges Denim Jewellery.
What is your favourite piece from the collection?
Again hard to choose but I love the silver tennis neckless and bracelet chain. They are so icy.

“Afrik n fusion” in fulham is the place if you want to taste west african cuisine which is known to be the best in Africa. And also as a french person I also recommend “French Tacos” on Harrow road.

Yes ! I am thinking about creating my own brand and maybe jump back into producing music as well. I have more free time now so there are several creative projects that I want to start.
If you could give one piece of advise to yourself 5 years ago what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to not be worried about being different, about following trends. To be confident in-doing my own thing.
Something that people wouldn’t know about you?
Most people know me as a basketball player or a model but a lot don’t know that I am a horse rider too. My mom is a horse rider and riding teacher so it is something that I learned very young. I still ride our horses when I go back to our ranch in Senegal.
One piece of clothing you could not live without?
I would say a black or white vest/tank top it’s my classic that i wear under anything or alone in summer.
Where do you see yourself in the future?
Eventually I would like to have a foot in the movie industry as an actor if I have the opportunity but mostly to create my own charity in Senegal and being able to give opportunities in modelling for the youth out there.
How did you get into modelling?
I got scouted 1 month after moving to London while I was working at Selfridges. Thanks to Danny Kasirye and Lyly Bui for changing my life.
