Having only driven an hour out of London we were almost expecting to be in a park, yet when we took the turning for Farr Festival we couldn’t have been more wrong. Set in the glorious Hertfordshire countryside was a massive surprise waiting to happen.
Once set up we walked along the beautifully crafted path through cornfields surrounding the site and into the trees where we discovered the festival was hiding. The set up was just right with three big tents inside the woods, another just outside and plenty of fun little places to get lost.
The acts throughout the day were a carefully selected mix of emerging talent coupled with two incredible nights of world class DJ’s.
Farr Festival has firmly placed itself in my top 5; the atmosphere was fantastic, the music was faultless and the weather was perfect. For only £45 (advance ticket) a ticket you would be mad not to go.
See you next year.
