The Silver Defect Ring is a classic signet ring shape with a Surrealist twist and a Cubic Zirconia stone. The ring is made from 925 Sterling Silver, and is hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office verifying its quality.
The Surrealism art movement depicted unnerving, illogical scenes, creating a new world through radical ways of thinking. This style of artwork has heavily influenced our Surrealism Collection, with the use of everyday objects transformed into precious metal jewellery.
The Defect Ring is inspired by our best selling Silver Envy Ring, with a Surrealist warp of the stone having fallen out of the face and into the shoulder. The stone is a clear Cubic Zirconia set with 4 teeth to secure it. The star setting is on the face of the ring however it is empty. The ring has an oxidised finish to highlight the details on the ring and gives an aged, vintage look.
The classic signet design makes it great for wearing alongside other pieces such as a band ring like the Silver Bamboo Ring for a contrast of shapes and detailing. The ring can be cleaned to perfection with a Silver cleaning cloth so you can keep it looking brand new.
Every product comes in a recyclable pouch. Our pouches are made from 100% cotton with cotton drawstrings and are completely plastic free & recyclable. Silver products (excluding Rhodium plated styles) naturally age over time, so they also come with a cleaning cloth, which can be used to polish your product.
